I have an inordinate fondness for umbrellas.  There always seems to be such a romance to them-walking down the street carrying an umbrella makes me feel like I’m in the middle of a film noir.  

I just came across the site for bella umbrella, and I have to say I am a little bit in love.  They have beautiful vintage parasol umbrellas for rent and for sale.  And their signature line of umbrellas with interchangeable handles is definitely on my wish list.  It’s enough to make you wish for rain at an outdoor wedding.  Or imagine the bridesmaids carrying these instead of bouquets, as a shelter from the sun.  Or hanging from the ceiling of a tent in lieu of paper lanterns.  Wouldn’t they be fantastic for a picnic reception, along with mix and match blankets and individual picnic baskets?  The list goes on.
